The second Ramadan passes on the Islamic world in light of the Coronavirus pandemic, which targeted the most prominent features of the blessed month, including collective prayers and family feasts, and separated those committed to health measures and non-observers as well as those who were killed by the virus or harmed their loved ones.
So it is imperative to take advantage of the mistakes that were made last Ramadan and to draw lessons from what happened in the first experiment in light of the virus, so what are those mistakes that we should avoid repeating?
The gag
Fouad Abu Hamed, a member of the Corona Anti-Corona Unit in Jerusalem, says to Al-Jazeera Net that he witnessed many painful cases last Ramadan, some of which reached the point of death due to not wearing the muzzle in closed places and elsewhere, which increased the chance of the infection spreading.
The recklessness to wear that small piece of cloth may bring dire consequences for the person or those around him.

Group prayers in enclosed spaces
Tarawih prayer and I'tikaaf are among the most prominent advantages of the month of Ramadan, and unfortunately, if they are inside closed places such as mosques, they are fertile grounds for transmitting infection and disease outbreaks, and this is what some worshipers mistook for last Ramadan by continuing to go to prayer inside closed places without spacing or Wearing a muzzle, and this should not be repeated in the current Ramadan, or replaced with cautious return to prayer in the courtyards of mosques or open squares, while adhering to health measures.
Underestimating quarantine
Last Ramadan, Abu Hamed witnessed the presence of people infected with the Coronavirus inside mosques during prayer, denouncing their recklessness that may endanger the lives of worshipers and death, stressing that complete isolation of the patient is a duty and a moral obligation above all, and preserving the soul and other souls is a priority in Islam.
Also, the non-infected contact should adhere to home quarantine according to the legal period, and not tolerate the matter under the pretext that Ramadan comes only once a year.

Not receiving the vaccine
Ramadan comes once a year, but age does not recur, and the virus has claimed many lives since its spread, so Abu Hamed advises the need to receive the vaccine against the virus, those over 16 years old, especially for people with chronic diseases, low immunity, or advanced ages.
Although the vaccine was not available last Ramadan, it is available today in most countries, and it should not be neglected.
Great banquets
The month of Ramadan is characterized by the intensity of banquets and the keenness to break the fast and honor those who are fasting, but the human soul here is more important than all of that, as many of the major banquets in closed spaces last Ramadan spread the infection to a large extent and damaged many lives.
If feasting is necessary this month, then it should be limited to a small number in an open place, and all the invitees should be keen to follow preventive health measures, and it is preferable for the fasting person to break the fast from relatives or needy people in his home.
The wage is the same, with the priority of health and public interest.

Gathering in the markets
And mental health expert Abd al-Rahman Khoja advises to avoid repeating the mistake of gathering in the commercial markets at peak times before breakfast, for example, because this brings many people together in closed places, especially since Ramadan is the season of price cuts, and the supply of food and purchases.
To prevent this, we should choose appropriate times that are somewhat empty for shopping, rationalize consumption, and choose the necessary items that one needs, away from the trap of discounts.
Neglecting awareness
In his speech - to Al-Jazeera Net - Hoxha warns of the need to hold awareness meetings remotely, spread awareness of the danger of the virus, ways to avoid it, and the importance of the vaccine, through multiple available means, as well as activating civil initiatives and raising their levels compared to last Ramadan, inspecting the injured or quarantined, collecting donations, and so on. One of the smart, cautious initiatives followed in the procedures
Complete isolation and neglect of worship
“Plus, the brother of the minus,” this is what applies last Ramadan to people who chose complete isolation for fear of catching infection, and kept their homes away from communal prayers and banquets, but on the other hand they neglected the ritual acts and were lazy about it, or they wasted their long time at home and left to rest and emptiness without Take advantage of the holy month.
This Ramadan is an opportunity to reorganize time and take advantage of precious minutes with the family, to combine virus prevention with firefighting.

Obsessed extravagance
Last Ramadan, government closures increased to reduce the spread of the virus, so shops opened at certain hours, and the fasting people bought excessively for fear that supplies would be cut off, and that led them into crowded closed commercial gatherings, and plunged them into a spiral of extravagance and excess purchase.
This is one of the most prominent mistakes that should not be repeated, by rationalizing consumption and organizing times.
Neglecting moderation
The educator and imam of the Great Mosque of Surda in Palestine, Muhammad Rabi'i, concluded by Al-Jazeera Net, recommending not to neglect the moderation in the month of Ramadan, saying, “We taught last Ramadan, the first in the time of Corona, that a person can change for the better, and from what we happened to last year we stayed longer in Our homes and that opened our appetite more towards food. "
And he added, "As for Ramadan this year, he wants us to realize the meaning of moderation; we fast and eat, get up and sleep, strive to worship at the same time that we practice our work and jobs from a distance or near .. Let us contemplate how the Quran recitation makes us present in the heart, and how Tarawih makes us. With quick-tear parents, and how the length of fasting makes us soft-hearted. "
