April 14, 2021 Adolfo Urso delivered a letter to the President of the Senate Elisabetta Alberti Casellati with which he "resigns his mandate" as a member of Copasir.

It is learned at Palazzo Madama.

"Having acknowledged that your call for a political solution has so far not been answered by the majority groups and the subsequent request of the Copasir president for all members of the committee to resign, I express my intention to make available the mandate with the other members who will have a similar attitude if you believe that this could serve to settle the question ", Urso writes to Casellati.

"The presidents of the parliamentary groups of the Brothers of Italy have already declared that they are willing to work on a composition agreed with the majority groups, underlining that this question is however different and separate from the essential one concerning the guarantee function that the law it confers on the chairman of the Committee ", he concludes.
