In Toulouse, the police from the Unit for the Repression of Property Attacks are investigating a violent assault on Monday, around 6 p.m., in the parking lot of the Argoulets metro station.

The victim, a 43-year-old man, was sitting in his stationary car when two men with hidden faces appeared.

One was armed with a knife, the other with a hammer with which he hit the driver.

The latter was forcibly removed from the passenger compartment and then immobilized with plastic bracelets.

The two attackers then fled behind the wheel of his Dacia Duster.

The motorist was found traumatized and injured.

Helpers took him to hospital.
