In this Ramadan season, the Jordanian screen is crowded with artistic works of Jordanian drama, unlike last year, which witnessed a scarcity in production due to the Corona pandemic, and the forced suspension of the implementation of artistic works due to the curfew, and the closure of institutions for more than two months.

The list of artistic works for the month of Ramadan includes 9 series, including 7 purely Jordanian works, a Syrian-Jordanian joint work, and a Yemeni-Jordanian joint work, of which 4 works are shown on Jordanian television: The Game of Revenge, The Boulders of Deserts, Karam Al Alali, and the social comedy series "Balaki." Do you have work".

The reason for the abundance of local production of serious and comedic artworks - according to artists and producers - is due to the cessation of production of artworks last year due to the Corona pandemic, and the failure to complete filming and montage before the month of Ramadan 2020, which led to poor production last season, according to specialists and viewers.

Record

With the exit from the Corona crisis, directors 'cameras and technicians' programs have returned to complete the production of the suspended artworks from last season, and start producing new series for the current Ramadan season 2021. The public sector, represented by Jordanian TV, and the private sector are participating in the production of dramas for this season.

Art critic Rasmi Mahasneh believes that the Ramadan season this year will witness the exit of Jordanian drama from the state of absence and the weakness of production that it has suffered during the past years, and this is the biggest achievement of Jordanian drama, and the biggest gain for the Jordanian artist, who has long suffered from the absence of artistic works.

Mahasneh, speaking to Al Jazeera Net, is optimistic about the upcoming dramas in Ramadan, as the leaks that took place about these series herald a strong and influential return of Jordanian drama worthy of Jordan, and with a record number during this Ramadan season.

He added that the Jordanian TV screen will present 3 local artworks, which will constitute support for the long-awaited Jordanian artist, and everyone is betting on the quality and value of these dramas and whether they will restore the Jordanian viewer's confidence in local artworks and the Jordanian TV screen, or will the viewer look for other Arab series, waiting Ramadan to judge her.
