This is stated in a message on the Kremlin's website.

“Both sides expressed their readiness to continue the dialogue on the most important areas of ensuring global security, which would meet the interests of not only Russia and the United States, but the entire world community,” the Kremlin said.

It is noted that Biden expressed interest in normalizing the state of affairs on the bilateral track and establishing stable and predictable interaction on acute problems, including ensuring strategic stability and arms control, the Iranian nuclear program, the situation in Afghanistan and global climate change.

“In this context, the US President suggested considering the possibility of holding a personal summit meeting in the foreseeable future,” the Kremlin noted.

During an exchange of views on the internal Ukrainian crisis, Putin outlined approaches to a political settlement based on the Minsk Package of Measures.

The parties also agreed to give instructions to the relevant departments to work out the issues raised during the conversation.

In addition, Biden confirmed his earlier invitation to Putin to participate in the climate summit, which will be held by videoconference on April 22-23.

Earlier in the White House, it was reported that Biden and Putin had held a telephone call. During the conversation, Biden suggested that his Russian counterpart hold a meeting in a third country in the coming months.
