Schauren (dpa / lrs) - A six-year-old boy was hit by a van in Schauren (Cochem-Zell district) and injured.
According to witness statements, the child tried to cross a street with his bicycle in front of a stationary bus on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the police, the driver of a van caught the boy with his vehicle.
The child fell off the bike as a result of the impact and was easily injured.
As a precaution, however, it was flown to a hospital in a rescue helicopter.
