Kiel (dpa / lno) - The seven-day incidence of new corona infections has risen significantly again in Schleswig-Holstein.

It climbed from Monday to Tuesday by 6.9 to 77.7, according to data from the Ministry of Health in Kiel (as of April 13, 8:16 p.m.).

The nationwide number of new infections reported within seven days per 100,000 inhabitants was 153.2 on Wednesday morning, according to the Robert Koch Institute.

On Tuesday a week ago, the incidence in Schleswig-Holstein was 62.3.

Furthermore, the incidence of two districts exceeded the critical mark of 100: the Duchy of Lauenburg (157.1) and Segeberg (102.8).

In both circles this number has increased since Sunday.

The districts of Schleswig-Flensburg (34.8) and Plön (41.2) had the lowest numbers.

The number of confirmed new corona infections reported for the country was 403 (Monday: 197).

According to data from the Robert Koch Institute, the number of people who died of or with the virus remained at 1,466. According to the figures on Tuesday, 196 people are being treated in clinics for Covid-19 - 41 of them in intensive care.

26 were ventilated.
