Neukloster (dpa / mv) - On the Autobahn 20, a truck driver was seriously injured in an accident near Neukloster (Northwest Mecklenburg district).
The 36-year-old went off the road because of inattentiveness and finally got stuck on the left side of the truck, the police said on Tuesday.
First responders saved the man who was trapped in the vehicle.
He was taken to a hospital in a rescue helicopter.
Overall, property damage of tens of thousands of euros is said to have occurred.
The section on the A20 was closed for several hours.
