Shoigu said, "The military operations of the alliance (NATO) pose a threat to Russia, and we have taken appropriate response measures." He said: "In the past three weeks, two army units and three airborne troops have been successfully deployed in western Russia. In border areas, conduct combat training exercises."
Shoigu also said that these exercises will end in two weeks.
