The number 3 of LR, Aurélien Pradié, candidate for regional in Occitanie, on Tuesday dismissed any idea of alliance or withdrawal in the second round, ensuring that there would be "no republican front", even against the National Rally .

"I believe in a republican right which is neither the trailer of the National Rally, nor the trailer of the left or the macronie", explained the deputy of Lot on the Talk du Figaro.

"My list for the first round will be the same in the second round", he added, repeating: "no Republican front".

But "anyway, there will be no need" because, according to him, the National Rally "will not be the alternative in this region; it is we, the Republican right, who will embody the alternative".

The day after the election at the head of the young LR of Guilhem Carayon, representative of the right wing of the party, Mr. Pradié wondered: "Is the ambition of the Republican right to eternally make 8% in the elections? We can have fun with that between us, reassure ourselves, say that we are all the same ", but" the ambition of the Republican right is to bring together the French ".

Deploring that it has "lost the people", he defended a right which in the past "carried great conquests, economic and social".

"It is not a right of the left, it is a right which historically is the Gaullist right, the Seguinist right," he added.

Asked about the presidential election, he reiterated his opposition to the primary which "designates a clan chief, where we need to designate a head of state".

"My candidate, if he had the will to go, it was François Baroin" and "I will not let go until he says he is not a candidate," he said. -he rocks.

Finally, on the inclinations of return lent to the former Prime Minister Edouard Philippe, he considered that "all this is a bubble".

"The only future of Édouard Philippe, it is in the wake of Emmanuel Macron".
