Berlin (dpa) - Summit meeting of rock heroes of two generations: Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger (77) has made common cause with Foo Fighters front man Dave Grohl (52) for his new song "Eazy Sleazy".

The rousing piece presents the rock veterans on mic and guitar, the former Nirvana drummer on drums, bass and guitar.

In terms of content, it is satirically critical about life in the pandemic - and about shrill conspiracy theories.

Jagger wrote the song "during the lockdown," announced his label Universal, adding: "Just for fun."

You can tell the fun of the singer, who is still bursting with energy, and the partner, who is a quarter of a century younger, in the video together.

Grohl, who himself has been in the rock business for almost 30 years, commented on the duet with the Stones icon: “It's hard to put into words what the recording with Sir Mick means to me.

(...) Just when I thought life couldn't get any crazier.

This is the song of the summer, without a doubt. "
