The French women's team lost 2-0, Tuesday in a friendly match in Le Havre, against the United States of Megan Rapinoe, who had inflicted on the Blue their last defeat almost two years ago, in the quarter-finals of the Mondial-2019.
The double reigning world champions took the upper hand in the first period on a penalty from Rapinoe (5th) and a goal from Alex Morgan (19th).
They thus go on to a 39th game without defeat.
Their last setback dates from January 2019, already in a friendly match in Le Havre against France (3-1).
Corinne Deacon's team, for its part, experienced a first defeat after sixteen games without losing.
