US health officials have recommended stopping the Janssen vaccination.
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Food and Drug Administration said in a joint statement on the 13th local time, "We are reviewing six cases of rare but severe forms of thrombosis after Janssen vaccination," and recommending discontinue use for the time being.
Shortly after U.S. health officials announced, Johnson & Jones also released a press release and said it had decided to postpone the release of the Janssen vaccine in Europe.
