According to the website of the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Education and the National Defense Mobilization Department of the Central Military Commission jointly issued the "Syllabus for Military Training for High School Students" (hereinafter referred to as the "Syllabus") on August 1, 2021. It will be implemented nationwide starting today.

The "Outline" clearly states that the military training teaching for senior high school students includes two parts: basic military knowledge and basic military skills. The teaching time is 7 to 14 days, with a total of no less than 7 days and 56 class hours.

  Among them, there are a total of 24 hours of basic military knowledge, 12 hours of mandatory training, and 12 hours of optional training; a total of 88 hours of basic military skills, 44 hours of mandatory training, and 44 hours of optional training.

  The teaching content of military training for high school students includes mandatory training content and selective training content.

Schools must strictly implement the "Outline" and must not reduce teaching content and prescribed class hours.

Encourage schools to actively offer school-based courses on military knowledge and military skills training and teaching, and broaden the content of military training teaching.
