The dawn pyromaniac is imprisoned again - after only a few hours

- It is true that he was deprived of his liberty, says Daniel Wikdahl, the police's spokesperson in the Central region. 

The dawn pyromaniac had served his sentence for, among other things, attempted arson at the social services office in Köping in 2017.

He was released on Monday morning.

But in the afternoon he was detained again - a news that Aftonbladet was the first to tell. 

Requested helping hand

- We received a request for help from the probation service at 16.29 and at 5 pm he was detained.

The name The Dawn Pyroman arose when he eluded the police in Ystad and Central Sweden for over a decade, between 2000 and 2011, when he was suspected of hundreds of fires. Several cultural-historical buildings burned down during this time.
