Bremerhaven (dpa / lni) - The Fischtown Pinguins from Bremerhaven have clearly lost the top game of the German Ice Hockey League against EHC Red Bull Munich.
The table runner-up in the northern season was defeated by the southern runner-up 1: 6 (1: 1, 0: 3, 0: 2) on Monday and suffered the third defeat in a row.
The Seestädter had already been able to qualify for the playoffs.
Only Anders Krogsgaard scored against Munich (2nd minute).
The Grizzlys Wolfsburg are also on the playoff course.
The Lower Saxony consolidated third place with a 6: 3 (1: 0, 2: 1, 3: 2) against the south-third ERC Ingolstadt in the north.
