Herne (dpa / lnw) - When searching an apartment in Herne, the police found drugs and weapons.
A 39-year-old man from Herne and a woman (32) from Bochum had been arrested, the police said on Monday.
The officials had been called to the 39-year-old's apartment last Thursday because of disputes and found a "distinct marijuana smell" there.
During the subsequent search, the investigators found a large amount of narcotics, including marijuana, amphetamines and ecstasy tablets.
They also secured several weapons and various packaging materials.
The 39-year-old and the 32-year-old woman who were also in the apartment were arrested.
The investigations by the Bochum drug commissioner are ongoing.
