April 12, 2021 The Minister of Culture, Dario Franceschini, was heard this afternoon by the Scientific Technical Committee to discuss the restart of activities related to the world of entertainment.
During his speech, Franceschini presented some proposals to allow the reopening of theaters, cinemas and concert halls, already foreseen in the "yellow zones", to take place with a greater presence of the public.
The minister also proposed to allow the Regions to experiment in certain outdoor venues with events with a greater number of spectators, introducing additional safety measures, as has already happened in other European countries.
The Technical Scientific Committee listened to the proposals and asked the Minister to receive a summary document tomorrow on which he will express himself quickly to allow the Government to deliberate as soon as possible.
In his speech Franceschini also reiterated how much for the show the situation is no longer sustainable and how much this sector, like that of the school, must be considered essential for the lives of citizens.
