Halle (dpa / sa) - The Chamber of Crafts in Halle has warned of material shortages and the resulting price increases.
The warning signals increased, “that building projects are increasingly at risk,” said a spokesman for the Chamber of Crafts on Tuesday.
The corona measures disrupt supply chains and less material is being produced.
The consequence for construction companies are increased prices and hardly any material in stock.
«Last year the building trade got through the corona crisis relatively well.
That has changed in the meantime, ”said Dirk Neumann, General Manager of the Halle Chamber of Crafts.
Companies reported price increases of more than 30 percent for wood and even 70 percent for insulation material.
