Munich (dpa / lby) - The Bavarian Council of Ministers will meet this Tuesday for its next meeting - and this time too, the cabinet will mainly have to deal with the fight against Corona.

Following the meeting, Health Minister Klaus Holetschek (CSU), Education Minister Michael Piazolo (Free Voters) and State Chancellor Florian Herrmann (CSU) will go public.

Among other things, the ministers will have to deal with the question of what the Bavarian attitude is to the planned amendment to the Federal Infection Protection Act.

Economics Minister Hubert Aiwanger (Free Voters) had already announced headwinds for Prime Minister Markus Söder's (CSU) course of wanting to take a tougher pace with the so-called emergency brake at the federal level.

It was initially unclear whether the government would extend the Bavarian measures regulation, which expires next Sunday, regardless of the discussions at the federal level.

Education Minister Piazolo will give a report at the cabinet meeting on how the complex situation in Bavaria's schools is after the Easter break.
