A group of employees of the central office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations drove to the site of the fire in St. Petersburg

"A task force from among the employees of the central office went to provide organizational, methodological and practical assistance to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia in St. Petersburg on the fact of a fire at the Nevskaya Manufactory," the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations quotes TASS.

It is noted that the group left on behalf of the head of the EMERCOM of Russia Evgeny Zinichev.

The department also clarified that the fire is still being extinguished.

Earlier, Evgeny Zinichev expressed his condolences to the family and friends of the firefighter who died while extinguishing a fire at the Nevsky Manufactory in St. Petersburg.
