Markranstädt / Leipzig (dpa / sn) - A parcel carrier from the Leipzig region is suspected of stealing computer technology from consignments and reselling it on the Internet.
As the police announced, the 34-year-old attracted attention with the sale of an iPad.
He is said to have stolen the device from a package in mid-March and sold it for a mid three-digit amount.
During a search of his apartment, the investigators found several cell phones, a laptop and a router, which had also been lost from a parcel in March.
It is now being checked whether the 34-year-old is responsible for further thefts and sales on the Internet.
