Kiel (dpa / lno) - Second division soccer team Holstein Kiel has signed Marcel Benger for the new season.
The defensive midfielder comes free of charge from Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach.
According to the Kieler on Monday, the 22-year-old will receive a three-year contract until June 30, 2024. Benger played in Gladbach in the junior teams of the U17 and U19 and since 2017 for the U23.
He played a Bundesliga game and 90 games in the Regionalliga West.
He scored ten goals.
