Erkrath (dpa / lnw) - Unknown robbers attacked the 75-year-old owner of a toy shop in his shop in Erkrath near Düsseldorf and injured them slightly.

The trio initially claimed that the owner owed them Pokémon trading cards worth several hundred euros, the police reported in Mettmann on Monday.

When the owner tried to call the police, one of the young men snatched the phone from him.

The 75-year-old was then slightly injured by a shock.

While trying to escape, the man was threatened by the suspects.

Finally, he gave them various collectible figurines worth several hundred euros, with which the strangers fled.

The police are now investigating because of predatory extortion.
