As IRNA writes, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, commenting on the incident, said that Israel's goal is to disrupt negotiations on a nuclear deal.

The official representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Said Khatibzade said during a press conference that Iran will take revenge on Israel for organizing an attack on the nuclear facility in Natanz.

"Iran's response will be revenge on the Israeli regime at the appropriate time," TASS quoted him as saying.

He added that "no harm was done to people or the environment at the Natanz nuclear facility, but it could have led to a disaster that is a crime against humanity."

The head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization, Ali Akbar Salehi, said the incident was an attempt at "nuclear terrorism" and sabotage.
