The platform "My class at home" of the Cned was the victim last week of several cyberattacks perpetrated from Russia and China, we learned on Monday from a source close to the file, confirming information from the JDD.

However, the geographical origin of these attacks does not mean, in the current state of the investigations, that the perpetrators are of Russian or Chinese nationality, the same source told AFP.

After the announcement ten days ago of the closure of schools to curb the coronavirus epidemic, schoolchildren, college and high school students resumed distance learning last Tuesday for a week.

But as was the case in 2020, the sites of the ENT (digital work spaces) and the Cned (national distance learning center), used by the National Education for online education, have been massively disrupted. in several regions.

The Minister of Education Jean-Michel Blanquer had mentioned on Tuesday April 6 a "very strong computer attack from abroad", without further details on its origin.

According to the Cned, which referred to "deliberate acts of malicious intent", new attacks occurred in the following days.

The Paris prosecutor's office announced on Wednesday the opening of an investigation.

The ENTs, managed by local authorities, were also disrupted last week in several regions due to an influx of connections, which earned the Minister of Education criticism over insufficient preparation for teaching for distance.
