Several campsites in Uppsala County have now been fully booked for the summer.

The number of people calling in to the campsites is also high.

One of the campsites that is full is Skokloster camping.

- This is what you are passionate about, you just wait for it to start in full, says Tom Paulson, operations manager at Skokloster camping.

It was also full during Easter at Skokloster camping, something that was a surprise for Tom Paulson.

- It was new that it was full at Easter and it was surprising considering the cold, he says.

Avoid spreading the infection

Skokloster was not alone in being open already during Easter - one of the campsites that also had it was Siggefora camping.

Catharina Hassarby is the owner of the campsite and has noticed that there is high pressure before the summer but also that more people camp during other seasons.

- There have been caravans and mobile homes during the winter as well and it is unusual, she says.

The high interest is positive for the campsites but also involves a risk of infection.

Catharina Hassarby would like to see visitors take responsibility for preventing the spread of infection on the campsite.

- I hope that they respect the restrictions that exist and do not penetrate the service house and the store, she says.
