The updated situation in Italy and in the world

The data of the Ministry of Health on the coronavirus in Italy. Today there are 9,789 new positives, 358 victims. There are 190,635 molecular and antigenic swabs for the coronavirus carried out in the last 24 hours in Italy. The positivity rate is 5.1%.



Yesterday there were 15,746 cases with 253,100 swabs (rate at 6.2%) and 331 victims.



The current positives are a total of 524,417, down by 8,588 units compared to yesterday. The discharged and healed are 3,140,565, there is an increase of 18,010 cases since yesterday. There are a total of 114,612 deaths from coronavirus in Italy. The total number of cases has reached 3,779,594 since the beginning of the pandemic.



Campania, 1,386 positives and 43 deaths

There are 1,386 positives of the day in Campania out of 9,473 swabs processed in the last 24 hours.

This was communicated by the regional crisis unit.

There are 499 new symptoms, while 43 (25 in the last 48 hours) have died.

The healed of the day are 1,828.

From the beginning of the emergency to today in Campania 5,817 people have died from Covid while 261,443 have been healed.

There are 136 patients in intensive care, nine less than yesterday, out of 656 beds available, while there are 1,594, 25 more than yesterday, hospitalized in hospital out of a total of 3,160 beds available.



In Emilia-Romagna 1,151 new cases and 31 deaths

There are 1,151 new cases of Coronavirus in Emilia-Romagna, detected in the last 24 hours with 12,899 swabs.

Average age of new cases is 40.2 years, 442 asymptomatic.

In the province of Modena the highest number (213), followed by Bologna with 203 cases plus 24 in the Imola area.

There are another 31 deaths, 15 men and 16 women, while hospitalizations return to increase: +2 in intensive care (332), +46 in the other Covid departments (2,756).

The healed are 1,306 more than yesterday, the active cases 66,433 (-186), 95.4% in isolation at home.

Vaccines chapter: at 4 pm there are over 90 thousand reservations for over 70s, which opened today.

At 3 pm a total of 1,135,605 doses were administered;

out of the total, 345,862 people have completed the vaccination cycle.



Lazio, 1,057 new cases and 37 deaths

Today on over 9 thousand swabs in Lazio (-6.700) and over 5 thousand antigenic for a total of about 15 thousand tests, there are 1,057 positive cases (-618), 37 deaths (+18) and 1,012 recovered.

Deaths and intensive care are increasing, while cases and hospitalizations are decreasing.

The ratio between positives and buffers is 11%, but if the antigenic substances are also considered, the percentage is 7%.

The cases in Rome city are at an altitude of 500. This was announced by the regional councilor for health Alessio D'Amato.

There are 52,068 cases currently positive for Covid-19 in Lazio, of which 3,050 are hospitalized, 396 in intensive care and 48,622 in home isolation.

Since the beginning of the epidemic, a total of 243,637 have been healed, 7,070 deaths and the total number of cases examined is 302,775, according to the updated bulletin of the Lazio Region.



In Puglia 815 new positives and 39 deaths

The president of the Puglia Region, Michele Emiliano, based on information from the director of the Health Promotion department Vito Montanaro, informs that today in Puglia, 6,220 tests for Covid-19 coronavirus infection have been recorded and 815 positive cases were recorded.

39 deaths were recorded.

2,007,810 tests have been carried out since the beginning of the emergency.

154,541 patients recovered.

51,576 are the cases currently positive.

The total of positive Covid cases in Puglia is 211,345.



636 new cases in Piedmont and 13 deaths

Today the Piedmont Region Crisis Unit communicated 636 new cases of people who tested positive for Covid-19 (of which 58 after antigen tests), equal to 4.7% of the 13,583 swabs performed, of which 7,716 antigenic.

Of the 636 new cases, 277 were asymptomatic (43.6%).

There are 317 hospitalized in intensive care (-3 compared to yesterday).

Patients not in intensive care are 3,633 (+27 compared to yesterday).

There are 23,711 people in home isolation.

There are 13 deaths of positive people in the Covid-19 test reported by the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region, of which 4 occurred today.

A total of 292,889 patients healed (+1,317 compared to yesterday)



Veneto, 587 infections and 11 deaths

Veneto records 587 new Covid infections in the last 24 hours, one of the lowest figures in recent weeks.

This is a number that, however, like every Monday, is affected by delays in loading over the weekend.

11 deaths are reported in the regional bulletin.

The incidence of positives on tampons made is 4.99%.

The total number of infected since the beginning of the epidemic thus rises to 395,794, that of victims to 10,952. The negative data is that hospitalizations in hospitals are rising again: a total of 2,122 (+26) patients with Covid in hospitals in the Veneto region, " We are always above the maximum that was recorded in March, with 2,068 - the governor Luca Zaia commented - which means that we have 70-80 people entering the hospital every day ".

Patients admitted to non-critical wards are 1,821 (+26), those in intensive care 301 (-1).

"Today with these data - says Zaia - we would be in the yellow zone with the old classification".

For the Governor "a coupon to the model assigned to the zones - he repeats - is necessary".



In Sardinia 307 new cases and 12 deaths

In Sardinia, since the beginning of the emergency, 49,416 cases of positive Covid-19 have been ascertained overall.

In the latest update of the Regional Crisis Unit, 307 new cases were detected.

In total, 1,099,640 swabs were performed, for an overall increase of 31,964 tests compared to the previous figure.

The positive cases-swabs performed ratio marks a positive rate of 1% for the Island.

Twelve new deaths were recorded (1,277 in all).

On the other hand, 341 patients are currently hospitalized in non-intensive wards (+6), while 55 (-1) patients are in intensive care.

There are 16,842 people in home isolation and a total of 30,901 (+150) healed.  



In Liguria 306 positives and 7 deaths

There are 306 new positives at Covid today in Liguria, compared to 2,881 molecular swabs carried out in the last 24 hours, to which are added another 2,867 rapid antigenic swabs.

This was announced by the bulletin of the Liguria Region.

The incidence of Imperia decreases (24 cases) while Savona remains high (119 cases).

The deaths were 7 while the hospitalized grew by 9 units.



Calabria 226 new cases and 3 deaths

In Calabria to date, 659,556 subjects have been tested for a total of 704,480 swabs performed.

The people who tested positive for Coronavirus are 51,907 (+226 compared to yesterday), the negative ones 607,649.

These are the daily data relating to the Covid-19 epidemic communicated by the Health Protection Department, which record +2 intensive therapies, +209 recovered / discharged and 3 deaths.



Marche, 130 new positives

The Health Service of the Marche Region has announced that 1810 swabs have been tested in the last 24 hours.

There were 111 positives in the new diagnosis pathway. In the Antigenic Screening Pathway, 413 tests were carried out and 19 positive cases were found (to be subjected to the molecular swab).

The positive / tested ratio is 5%.



Abruzzo, 90 cases and five deaths

The number of positives in Abruzzo decreases and that of Covid victims also decreases with 5 deaths recorded in today's regional health report.

In particular, there are a total of 68091 positive cases of Covid 19 registered in Abruzzo since the beginning of the emergency.

Compared to yesterday, there are 90 new cases between the ages of 1 and 89.

The death toll of patients registers 5 new cases and rises to 2248. The number of positive cases also includes 55433 cured (+134 compared to yesterday).

The currently positive are 10410 (-50 compared to yesterday).

Since the start of the Coronavirus emergency, a total of 937540 molecular swabs have been performed (+2206 compared to yesterday) and 370888 antigen tests (+695 compared to yesterday).

569 patients (+12 compared to yesterday) are hospitalized in non-intensive care;

64 (-1 compared to yesterday with 3 new hospitalizations) in intensive care, while the other 9777 (-61 compared to yesterday) are in home isolation with active surveillance by the ASL.



Friuli Venezia Giulia, 82 cases and 11 deaths

Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia, on 1,244 molecular swabs, 60 new infections have been detected with a positive percentage of 4.82%.

There are also 361 rapid antigenic tests carried out, from which 22 cases (6.09%) were detected.

The registered deaths are 8, to which 3 previous ones are added;

there are 81 admissions to therapies and 523 in other wards. This was communicated by the deputy governor with responsibility for Health, Riccardo Riccardi.

The total deaths amounted to 3,517.

The totally healed are 82,266, the clinically healed 4,721, while the people in isolation drop to 10,383.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 101,491 people have been positive.



Valle d'Aosta, no deaths and 32 new infections

No deaths and 32 new cases which bring the overall total of infections in Valle D'Aosta since the beginning of the pandemic to 10,087.

The data are contained in the health update bulletin of the Region.

The current positives are 1,129, + 19 compared to yesterday, of which 64 hospitalized, 11 in intensive care, and 1,054 in home isolation.

The healed rose to 8,522, + 13 compared to yesterday, the swabs carried out to date are 103,671, + 186, of which 19,022 those processed in a rapid unsanitary context.

Since the beginning of the epidemic, 436 deaths of people tested positive for the virus in Valle d'Aosta.
