“According to the statistics available to the Bank of Russia, in 2020, clients of credit institutions were returned (reimbursed) 11.3% (1,104.6 million rubles) of the total volume of money transfer transactions made without the client's consent (in 2019 - 14, 6%, or 935.9 million rubles), ”the message says.

The regulator is currently working on a number of measures to improve the mechanism for returning the stolen funds.
