Magdeburg (dpa / sa) - After a knife stabbed a 36-year-old, the police in Magdeburg arrested a 16-year-old suspect.
The district court had issued an arrest warrant for attempted manslaughter, the police said on Monday.
Earlier on Sunday morning there should have been a verbal argument between the two parties involved, as a result of which the perpetrator is said to have picked up a knife and injured the 36-year-old man's upper body.
This had come to a hospital.
The incident occurred on a bridge over the B71.
The police had initially looked in vain for the suspect German with the help of a helicopter.
Search measures and investigations would then have led to him.
