A preschool states that they only clean the toys before the summer and Christmas and sometimes before the Easter and autumn holidays.

But there is no documentation on how it was managed.

According to environmental inspectors, the recommendation is to wash the toys every two months.

Their inspections have also shown that some preschools lack hand alcohol and that the children's mattresses are not stored separately from each other when not in use and that there are no routines for when to wash mattress covers and pillowcases.

One of the preschools has now been required to rectify the shortcomings, the others will be followed up at future inspections.

At the same time, the environmental inspectors point out that several preschools have improved the cleaning with covid-19, among other things that they do it more often. Both children and adults are also more careful about washing their hands.
