Aue (dpa / lno) - FC St. Pauli remains the best second round team in the 2nd Bundesliga.

The Hamburg team won 3-1 (1-0) at FC Erzgebirge Aue on Saturday and consolidated their eighth place in the table after their eleventh win of the season.

Luca Zander (1st / 56th minute) and Rodrigo Zalazar (49th) scored the goals for St. Pauli in a one-sided encounter.

Pascal Testroet (73rd) scored for the Saxons, who initially slipped to tenth place after their eleventh defeat.

The guests got off to an optimal start: Zander headed in after 59 seconds after a free kick from Zalazar to give the early 1-0 lead.

The goal gave the Hamburgers security, but coach Timo Schultz's team was initially unable to convert their superiority into further goals.

Aue was completely harmless in the first half.

Shortly after the restart, St. Pauli rewarded itself with the second goal.

Guido Burgstaller put the ball on Zalazar, who increased it to 2-0 with a placed shot from the edge of the penalty area.

With his second goal in the 56th minute, Zander set the course for an away win.

The FC Erzgebirge could only shorten to 1: 3 through Testroet.
