Zwickau (dpa / sn) - After a kitchen fire in an apartment building in Zwickau, a mother and her four children came to the hospital.
While the 44-year-old woman and her children at the age of 4, 13 and 18 could still be discharged on Friday, the doctors kept an 11-year-old in the clinic for observation.
According to the police, the fire had started on Saturday when oil caught fire in a pan while cooking, which spread to the extractor hood.
Due to the fire, the apartment was very sooty and, according to initial estimates, there was damage to property amounting to around 25,000 euros.
