Spraitbach (dpa / lsw) - After flex work, a garage in Spraitbach (Ostalbkreis) burned down.
A 62-year-old put the angle grinder on a workbench on Saturday after use.
"Probably due to the work previously carried out, the flying sparks and the overheated device, there was smoke in the garage around 6 p.m. and parts of the building and the roof caught fire," said the police on Sunday.
The officials put the property damage at at least 200,000 euros.
Nobody got hurt.
However, the 62-year-old must expect a complaint for negligent arson.
