Yemeni President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi said that the current war was imposed by the Houthi group, and it is to serve Iran's agenda and to impose what he described as its alien experience, which he said could not be accepted no matter what sacrifices it cost.

Hadi stressed - during a meeting with his deputy, prime minister and Shura Council speaker - that he feels the extent of the suffering and difficulties that the Yemeni people face due to the current conditions and the economic and service challenges, in light of the continuing war.

The Houthis have recently intensified the launch of ballistic missiles, missiles and marches against Saudi areas, amid repeated declarations by the coalition that they are destroying them.

Intercept and destroy

Earlier on Sunday, the Saudi-led coalition said it had intercepted and destroyed a drone bomb in Yemeni airspace that the Houthis had launched towards the kingdom.

The agency quoted a statement by the coalition as saying that the Houthis' attempts, which it described as hostile, were systematic and deliberate to target civilians.

The coalition indicated that it "takes the necessary operational measures to protect civilians, in accordance with international humanitarian law."

Yesterday, Saturday, the coalition announced the destruction of a ballistic missile launched by the Houthis towards the Jizan region, southwest of Saudi Arabia, while the Houthis announced the targeting of Abha International Airport, southwest of the Kingdom, with a drone.

For his part, the spokesman for the Ansar Allah group "Al Houthis" Muhammad Abdul Salam said that he had met with the Omani Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al Busaidi.

He added - in a tweet on Twitter - that the meeting discussed the political situation in Yemen and the path of negotiation with the international community, and Abdul Salam emphasized his appreciation of Oman's role in supporting Yemen and raising its humanitarian suffering.
