Hanover (dpa / lni) - The number of corona infections rose again in Lower Saxony at the weekend.
As the State Health Office announced on Saturday in Hanover, the number of infections increased compared to Friday at 1734 to a total of 209 639 cases (as of 9 a.m.).
The nationwide seven-day incidence rose from 89.5 new infections per 100,000 population within a week on Friday to 94.7 on Saturday.
This value was below the incidence value a week earlier on Holy Saturday when it was 109.1.
The highest incidence values were found in the city of Salzgitter with 208.1, in the city of Wolfsburg with 174.5 and in the Vechta district with 172.3.
