What has made me so angry and shaken lately is the fact that apparently every day there is a new attack on an Asian-American person, a new video, a new story.
But perhaps there is another wrong besides the egregious acts of the attackers and the indifference of the bystanders.
Namely, the evil of lying about the problem - or deliberately misinterpreting it - so that the narrative is coherent.
Asian Americans are under attack, and the media and political class are bending over to somehow accuse white supremacy or the legacy of Trumpism.
Why?
This dynamic deserves more attention.
