The fire alarm came at 00.26 on Sunday night.
Residents of the property had discovered smoke in the stairwell.
The place is cordoned off
When the rescue service arrives, they find that there is a fire in one of the apartments.
- They went in with smoke divers, with the apartment empty of people, says Evelina Olsson, press spokesperson at the police region south.
The fire could then be limited to the home in question.
Technical examination
Circumstances at the scene mean that the police choose to investigate the incident as a suspected arson.
The fire is believed to have started in the living room.
- But what it is that makes us suspect arson, I can not go into, says Evelina Olsson.
The site is cordoned off pending a technical inspection.
Sunday morning no one is suspected or arrested.
