After nine days with a declining incidence, the number of new corona infections in Hamburg has risen again in a weekly comparison.
According to the health authority, 498 new cases were added on Saturday, as the health authority announced.
That is 51 more cases than on Friday and 37 more than on Saturday a week ago.
The seven-day incidence, i.e. the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days, rose from 131 to 132.9.
A week ago the value was 158.8.
The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) stated the number of people who died in Hamburg from or with Corona as 1409, three more than the day before.
According to the health authorities, 65,277 Hamburgers have been infected with Sars-CoV-2 since the outbreak of the pandemic, 55,800 of them are considered to have recovered.
Almost 260,000 Hamburgers received the first vaccination
According to the authorities, 297 corona patients were treated in the Hamburg clinics as of Friday, seven more than the day before.
There were 105 patients in the intensive care units.

The number of those vaccinated continued to rise.
After a further 6500 first vaccinations, the number of all vaccinated rose to a total of 260,000, of which 104,000 had already received their second vaccination.
