Koblenz (AP) - According to the public prosecutor's office, a rape of a Muslim girl in a Catholic day care center in Koblenz made waves about half a year ago.
Because of the hostility that followed, 137 preliminary investigations have been initiated and some fines have already been imposed, as the Koblenz attorney general Jürgen Brauer told the German Press Agency.
The educator, who was falsely hostile, said he was unable to work and ended up in a psychiatric day clinic with depression.

According to Brauer, no investigation proceedings have been initiated against the girl's parents for pretending to be a criminal offense.
"It must currently be assumed that the parents are convinced that their child has been abused," explains the attorney general.

Three more criminal charges with false allegations were filed against him by his parents.
