Magdeburg (dpa / sa) - The civil society and non-party alliance “#unteilbar Sachsen-Anhalt” started its campaign on Saturday for the upcoming state elections with a rally in front of the Magdeburg state parliament.
With a view to the election on June 6th, trade unions, initiatives and associations want to stand up for a “democratic, solidary and diverse society”.
Representatives of alliance partners such as the German Trade Union Federation and “Halle gegen Rechts - Bündnis für Zivilcourage” made their positions clear in speeches and with banners.
The corona pandemic exacerbated existing social problems “like a burning glass”, it was said.
