Volodymyr Zelensky is due to meet his counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan on April 10.
Among the subjects on the agenda: military-industrial cooperation.
The visit takes place against a backdrop of renewed tensions in the Donbass War, with Russia and Ukraine accusing each other of increasing the pressure.
In this context, the discussions between the Turkish and Ukrainian presidents will be closely watched by Moscow.

Relations between Kiev and Ankara are going well.
Since the start of his mandate, less than two years ago, this is the third trip to Turkey for Volodymyr Zelensky.
On several subjects, the two leaders are on the same line: Ankara refuses, in particular, to recognize the annexation of Crimea and supports the territorial integrity of Ukraine, without however aligning with the sanctions imposed on Russia .
Turkey is also helping to equip the Ukrainian army.

In 2019, it sold him three ground control stations and six Bayraktar drones, the kind that played a decisive role in Azerbaijan's victory in Nagorno-Karabakh late last year.
Kiev is looking to acquire 48 more, while saying it is interested in a joint production.
Turkish and Ukrainian companies are working on several joint defense projects.
Discussions are underway around the production of Turkish corvettes at the Mikolaiv shipyard in southern Ukraine.
On the occasion of his previous visit to Turkey in October, Volodymyr Zelensky stressed that this cooperation with a NATO member was important for his country, which is seeking to get closer to the Atlantic Alliance.
