Almost a year ago, a neighbor of the now convicted man heard that someone shouted "the cat shit on the plot" followed by a number of shots and an animal that ran away.

According to the verdict, he must also have seen his him standing on the balcony with a gun.

Admits he shot

The convicted man admits that he shot at the cat but that it was only to scare.

He does not think he hit it but that it was damaged when it ran away.

The man was standing on the balcony practicing with his carbon dioxide pistol when he saw the cat pooping on the plot.

He also says that there is a big problem with cats doing their needs there.

No bullet left in the body

When the cat came home in the evening, it was examined by a veterinarian who told him during the trial that the injuries to the cat could be due to the fact that it had been shot.

However, X-rays showed no bullets.

The verdict can be appealed to the Court of Appeal until April 30.
