The attempt to create the first Amazon union in the United States in a warehouse in Alabama, in the southeast of the country, failed on Friday, as a majority of workers who participated in the poll voted against the initiative.

At around 3 p.m. GMT (5 p.m. KST), more than half of the 3,215 ballots received at the Bessemer plant had a negative vote, confirming the defeat of union supporters and the victory of the e-commerce giant, which campaigned against this movement.
