09 April 2021A return to class after the so-called Easter holidays, for the second time with the pandemic, and with a surprise.

2,500 Italian schools were unable to access the electronic register due to a haker attack on the Axios platform.

Today the good news: the electronic register service is being restored, explains the Axios Italia company for teachers, families and apps. "We will keep you constantly informed - the company says in a note - for the restoration of the other services".

The cyber attack began on April 3 and according to Axios Italia it was a type of attack called in jargon "ransomware", a computer virus with which hackers block some data, usually using encryption methods that make the contents inaccessible. Axios also said that the investigations carried out, at the moment, do not show that any data has been stolen.
