Gelsenkirchen (dpa) - Soccer coach Dimitrios Grammozis can plan for the Bundesliga match of the defeated table bottom FC Schalke 04 on Sunday (3.30 p.m. / Sky) against FC Augsburg with the return of attacker Mark Uth.

"He is very stable in team training, I hope it stays that way," said Grammozis on Friday.

He is happy that he has more options for the offensive.

Uth has had to take a break since the beginning of February after a muscle injury in his thigh and has already been out several times this season.

In the first leg in December 2020 he suffered a concussion at 2-2 in Augsburg after a header duel and a fall on the lawn.

Attacker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar made his comeback in the Schalke starting line-up after injury last Saturday and scored directly in the 2-1 defeat in Leverkusen.

Grammozis benevolently noted that the 37-year-old Dutchman let it be known during the week that he could not rule out a stay at Schalke 04 in the 2nd Bundesliga with regard to his future plans.

«Klaas has shown impressively how important he can be for a team.

He is passionate about it, his motivation is exemplary.

We'll talk about it in detail, ”said the coach, referring to the squad planning for the coming season.
