The last time the repository had a corona eruption was in February.
This is the fourth time that the repository has been affected since the beginning of the pandemic.
It will be about four staff and two detainees in the same department who must have found corona.
- I think the first symptoms appeared around March 23-24.
The region's nurses who work at the repository were able to quickly test people and then corona was discovered, says Owe Hammarling, section manager at the repository in Flen.
Infected have been isolated
Accommodation with established covid-19 has been isolated from the others, according to Hammarling.
- When we get outbreaks, we only receive digital visits and then we get the opportunity to use visiting spaces as quarantine rooms.
In connection with the pandemic, occupancy at all repositories in the country was halved.
For Flen, which usually has 110 seats, this means that today there are only 44 seats open.
And in a department that is being renovated, there are only three available.
There is an intake stop at the department that has been affected by the corona outbreak, but as the other two departments are full, the repository in Flen cannot receive any new people.
