09 April 2021 Vito Crimi, political leader of the 5 Star Movement, announced new rules in the reporting and returns of parliamentarians starting from April.

The new mechanism was presented during an online assembly with pentastellated deputies to make the M5S autonomous from an economic point of view, according to the intent that the leaders of the Movement intend to achieve.

"Today all parliamentarians are obliged to return a minimum amount of 2 thousand euros plus 300 euros to be allocated directly to the Rousseau Association. The rest must be reported," said Crimi.

In the new reporting system there will be, within a quota of 2500 euros, 1,000 euros to be paid to the current account of the 5-star Movement, which "also includes the former fee of 300 euros to the Rousseau Association which will no longer have to be paid starting from the month of April ", he underlined.

Crimi then formalized the opening of a new Iban which will serve to make the Movement autonomous in organizational management and in that of direct democracy, indispensable, inherent in the 'DNA' of the Movement.

Furthermore, "

Rousseau's economic claims are unfounded both in the quantification and in the identification of the Movement as a subject deemed obliged

", said the political leader of the 5 Stars, highlighting how it is known "to all that the headquarters of the Movement at one law firm cannot be more sustainable ", and that a physical point of reference is needed for the new course, a party headquarters in the center of Rome.

Crimi commented: "We are considering solutions so that we can have a point of reference here in Rome", highlighting, in this way even more the relationships in crisis and at loggerheads with the Davide Casaleggio Association.

According to Crimi, "the initiatives and activities must be proposed, coordinated and managed by the bodies of the Movement or by the managers of the various projects indicated by the 5 Star Movement and not by the third party providing the service. All choices must be in full availability of the bodies that are democratically elected and that respond to mechanisms of trust and mistrust and therefore also respond politically to the choices made, and not to the third party that provides the tool ".

Crimi met the M5S deputies and will see the senators on the eve of the weekend marked by the assemblies in which Giuseppe Conte will speak.

Many are waiting for Conte to give answers and indications on the near future between tomorrow and the day after tomorrow.
