Kiel (dpa / lno) - Schleswig-Holstein's Prime Minister Daniel Günther sees a sufficient set of rules for the procedure in the corona pandemic even after the cancellation of the Prime Minister's Conference with Chancellor Angela Merkel (both CDU).

"Even without a meeting between the federal government and the states in the coming week, we have clear principles for our actions for the next few weeks," said the CDU politician on Friday when asked.

"Both the opening of outdoor catering and the implementation of the model regions here in Schleswig-Holstein will not be affected by the nationwide debate."

The north, which has the lowest incidence nationwide with 64.5 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days, will open the outdoor catering again from Monday.

"If there is currently talk of a so-called lockdown, it is about an emergency brake for regions with an increasing incidence of over 100," said Günther.

"We are already consistently applying the emergency brake in Schleswig-Holstein for these regions."

The country is implementing its phased plan with both falling and rising incidences.

"We will continue to tighten the rules if the values rise significantly above 100."

Günther emphasized that the measures taken with the emergency brake always had an effect.

"Based on our experience, we highly recommend this consistent action."

Therefore, the state does not close itself to the debate about implementing these measures nationwide in a more uniform way by changing the Infection Protection Act.
