From July to September, British Buckingham Palace will allow visitors to tour the entire garden on their own.

This is the first time that Buckingham Palace has opened this permission to the public, and visitors can even have a picnic on the garden lawn.

The British "Sun" reported on the 8th that the Royal Collection Foundation, the British royal art collection management agency, reported that due to the new crown epidemic, Buckingham Palace will change its previous open tour regulations this summer and allow tourists to visit the entire garden by themselves for the first time July 9th to September 19th.

According to British media reports, the Buckingham Palace Garden covers an area of 39 acres (about 15.8 hectares), with 325 species of wild plants, more than 1,000 trees, and 30 species of birds inhabited.

In addition to the vegetation landscape, visitors can also have a panoramic view of the 3.5 acres (1.4 hectares) of the lake, and even picnic on the lawn.

Interested visitors can log on to the Royal Collection Foundation website to book tickets.

The unit price of adult tickets is 16.5 pounds (about 148.4 yuan), students and people over 60 are 15 pounds (134.9 yuan). People with disabilities, group purchases and children can enjoy discounts or free tickets.

However, visitors are not allowed to play ball games in the garden, and are not allowed to bring prohibited items such as alcohol, glass products and sharp knives.

Buckingham Palace was built in 1705, and the current design can be traced back to the 1820s.

At that time, King George IV of England ordered the building to be transformed into a palace.

At present, it is not only the office of the Queen of England and the residence in London, but also the seat of the royal administrative headquarters.
